Synopsis

You wake up on the cold, cracked tile of a long-abandoned school. The walls are covered in faded, peeling posters, their messages warped by time. Lockers hang open, their contents spilled onto the dusty floors. A rancid smell lingers in the air—a mix of mildew, decay, and something far worse. Your head pounds. You don’t remember how you got here. You don’t even remember your name. The only thing you know for certain is this: you are not alone.

Something roams the halls. Their footsteps echo in the distance, slow at first, but deliberate—searching. And then, you hear the worst sound imaginable: a long, wet inhale, like something sniffing you out.

Then, the whispering starts.

They are everywhere.

The Deadwalkers.

Once, this was a school. Once, it was full of life. But something happened here, something that twisted the students and teachers into grotesque, faceless things—silent, yet always listening. Now, they hunt anyone who dares to enter. Their bodies are malformed, their hollow eyes leaking black fluid, their limbs contorting as they skitter across floors, crawl along ceilings, and emerge from the shadows.

They are watching. They are waiting. And the moment you make a sound—they will come.

Your goal is simple: Survive. Escape. Discover the truth.

But the deeper you go, the more you realize… there is no way out.

FEATURES

🔦 Light and Sound Matter

• Your flashlight is essential for navigating the darkness—but the Deadwalkers see the light. Keep it on too long, and you will be surrounded.
• Running, slamming doors, or knocking objects over will alert them. The quieter you are, the longer you live.

🩸 Limited Combat and Resource Management

• Weapons: A rusted baseball bat, a near-empty revolver, and whatever you can find in the decayed ruins of the school.
• Strategic Fighting: A gunshot will kill a Deadwalker, but the noise will bring more. The bat can knock them back, but if they grab you, you are already dead.
• Hiding is an option… but they learn. If you hide too often in the same places, they will start searching for you there.

🎙 Noise Detection System

• Every action has consequences. Running, breathing too hard,  even reloading your gun too loudly will attract them.
• You can hold your breath—but only for so long.

📖 Expanded Lore and Mystery

• Uncover notes, abandoned rooms and more to uncover the mystery
• Explore classrooms, locker rooms, libraries, and hidden underground areas no student was meant to enter.
• Solve puzzles that reveal what really happened in this school.

🧪 Infection and Physical Transformations (NEW LORE UPDATE!)

• The school wasn’t just abandoned—it was quarantined.
• Some notes describe a sickness. A spreading infection that started with nosebleeds and dizziness, then worsened into vomiting black liquid, rotting skin, and finally… the faceless transformation.
• You may think the Deadwalkers are just monsters, but they used to be students.

💀 The Deadwalkers (Monsters & AI)

• Appearance: Faceless humanoids with grey, rotting skin, twitching limbs, and hollow, oozing eye sockets.
• Abilities:
  • Enhanced Hearing: They hunt by sound—every step, every breath can bring them closer.
  • Unnatural Speed: If they hear you, they will sprint—and they never stop chasing.
  • Jumpscare Attacks: If you turn a corner too fast, open the wrong door, or shine your flashlight too long—they will be there.
